The STA-40 series is a self-contained, portable air pump with a 37 cubic inch reservoir that delivers up to 10,000 psi of hydraulic pressure. This pump provides a balance of toughness and weight. It utilizes a lightweight, compact design made using durable heavy-duty, anodized aluminum to provide the toughnest that you want while reducing overall weight. This pump can be used indoors or outdoors with it's all-weather performance. Components have been selected to work effectively over a temperature range of -35F to 250F.  The air pressure is foot-activated using a 360 degree swivel hose connector fot increased flexibility. This pump also has an exclusive "air-thrust" design that rapidly takes up slack, putting the cylinder rod or work tool in it's work position very quickly.

The STA-10x-1M models come with a Hand Pendant to actuate the air pressure to the pump. These models come in both anodized aluminum and plastic reservoirs. The standard model STA-101-1M comes with an aluminum 98 cu. in. reservoir. Reservoir sizes up to 454 cu. in. are available.

The STA-10x-4M models use a 4-way valve in order to operate double-acting cylinders. The 4 way valve is used to operate the air pressure. The standard model, STA-101-4M has an anodized aluminum, 98 cu. in. reservoir. Other sizes of both aluminum and plastic reservoirs are available.
